We
know the kids are excited…and we are too! Thanks to our coaches, volunteers and
sponsors, we are growing! We were pleased (and a little shocked) with the
overwhelming turnouts to the three Try Lacrosse sessions this winter. We have
added more teams this year and look forward to meeting a lot of new lacrosse
families!
We’re Growing!
Each division has grown beyond what was anticipated. We've even had to add the Ayton Arena into our venues in order to accommodate all of the growth. Thank you to everyone who registered early to help us get planning for a bigger and better 2020 season. Registration is open but we suggest doing this as soon as possible to avoid missing out on early floor times and communications!
At this time, we anticipate there will be tryouts for Tyke rep, Novice, Peewee and Bantam teams. Please visit each team’s page and calendar over the next few weeks to check out your times. You should also receive an email by mid-march. If you haven’t, please contact [email protected]. These teams will get on the floor March 25 for an early “warm up” session before beginning tryouts.
Stay Up-to-date!
At the bottom of the home page on the website- you can click on “subscribe” to follow the team your child will be on. (for Tyke house league-please add the Paperweight schedule). This can then get added to your calendar on a cell phone and is the best way to stay up to date. Our Facebook page is also a great way to get reminders and share photos, etc. (West Grey Minor Lacrosse-Rampage).

We need your help!
There will be many ways to get involved this year. Many of us are new at this and “new to lacrosse”. We all were at one time! Our house league teams especially, rely on having parents being willing to get on the floor and learn lacrosse as the players do. Additionally, we are looking for people to assist our executive in the positions of scheduler, sponsorship & fundraising and equipment managing. Perhaps you have ideas or skills you can bring.
