The West Grey Rampage U22’s triumphed in the Sudbury Rockhounds Canada Day tournament with a stellar performance.
Despite going into the tournament as the underdogs, being the only D team in a B/C tournament, the Rampage fought hard to win 3 out of 4 games in the round robin series. Having battled fiercely to secure the top position, they earned a spot in Sunday’s gold medal game. In a thrilling match versus the Newmarket Redbirds, the Rampage clinched the gold medal with a hard-earned 4-3 victory. This historic win not only highlights their skill and teamwork but also celebrates their dedication to the sport, bringing pride and joy to their community in West Grey. Congratulations boys and bench staff!
