The first modern lacrosse game was played in 1867 at Upper Canada College in Toronto!
In 1904, lacrosse became the first team sport to be featured at the Summer Olympics, with Canada winning the gold medal!
The Iroquois Nationals, a team representing the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, was officially recognized by the International Lacrosse Federation in 1990 and has competed in several World Championships!
