Try Lax is a fun, low-pressure introduction to box lacrosse for new players and families curious about the sport. The goal is simple: give kids a positive first experience and help them feel confident stepping into full season play.

Box lacrosse checks all the boxes for growing athletes:

  • Develops Hand-Eye Coordination: Fast-paced stick work and decision-making help build focus and precision.
  • Encourages Physical & Multi-Sport Activity: Running, dodging, and agility support athletic development across all sports.
  • Builds Confidence: Learning new skills in a fun, supportive environment helps kids grow on and off the floor.
  • Teaches Teamwork & Communication: Athletes learn how to work together, communicate, and support one another.
  • Fun & Exciting: A fast-paced sport kids love to play.

Did you know? In 2025, West Grey Rampage proudly led the province with a 50% conversion rate. This means half of the kids who try lacrosse with us move on to become registered rep players!
