West Grey Rampage hosted the Kitchener Kodiaks on Thursday night.
The Kodiaks jumped to an early two goal lead but Rampage’s Carter Barrett got his team on the board and West Grey was only down 2-1 at the end of the first period.It was a back and forth scoring match in the second with West Grey netting the next two goals by Blake Green and Gavin Johns putting the Rampage ahead 3-2. The lead was short lived as Kitchener tied it up finishing the period tied at three.West Grey let the gas off the pedal to start the third and the Kodiaks capitalized to take an early 4-3 lead to start the third. Kitchener potted the insurance goal to win an entertaining 5-3 game vs the Rampage.The West Grey Rampage is on the road to Guelph on May 21 to face off against the Guelph Regals.
