On May 30th the U13 West Grey Rampage travelled to Arthur to battle against the Aces!
Arthur took an early lead but that lead was short lived as West Grey’s Blake Green quickly tied the game up at one. Noah MacDonald, Blake Green and Carter Barrett all got on the score board that helped the Rampage take a commanding 4-1 lead at the end of the first period. Within minutes into the second the Aces made it 4 to 2. Jace Maarse scored a much needed short handed goal to make it 5 to 2 Rampage. A couple quick goals by Arthur made it a close 5 to 4 score to finish the second period. Greysen Bury with a great shot on the power play gave his team a two goal lead. Arthur wasn’t going away that easy and potted one to bring the score within one once again. Noah MacDonald and Bentley Dietz gave their team the insurance goals they needed to run away with the game. Blake Green scored the final buzzer beater goal of the night to lead his team to their first win of the season, 9 to 5 with his hat trick performance. Goaltender Tatum Roberts was solid in net and earned himself the purple hard hat for player of the game.
