The U13 West Grey Rampage travelled to Waterloo on June 13th to play against the Kitchener Kodiaks.
Less than a month ago the Kodiaks defeated the Rampage at home 5 to 3. West Grey hoped to return the favour. Nixon Reinhart opened the scoring for his team, that lone goal stuck for the duration of the first period. The Rampage were explosive in the second scoring 6 straight goals, Jace Maarse (2), Jase Richardson, Bentley Dietz, Gavin Johns and Blake Green. The Kodiaks added one powerplay goal to the board, but Blake Green scored his second of the night to keep the momentum West Grey’s way. Kitchener scored two more goals in the third but West Grey defended strong and won 8 to 3. West Grey will compete in the Father’s Day Classic Tournament in Owen Sound,
